Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Heroines' Secret Quest Walkthrough

Obtaining the Quest

  • Talk to Rotana, an archeologist, in Gerudo's Shelter to start the quest.
  • No prerequisites are required; simply find Rotana (-3883, -2969, 0033) and talk to her.

Entering Gerudo Shelter

  • Go to the throne room in Gerudo Town.
  • Head to the courtyard east of the throne and enter the small room down the stairs to the right.
  • Move the desk to reveal a hole in the wall and crawl through to reach the shelter.

Completing the Quest

  • Rotana tasks you with finding four Stelae and taking a photo of each.
  • No markers will appear on your map, so follow the guide precisely.

Stelae Locations

First Stelae

  • Go past Rotana and take the left turn.
  • Break the boulders at (-3894, -2991, 0032) with Bomb Arrow or Rock Hammer.
  • Take a picture of the Stelae hidden behind the rocks.

Second Stelae

  • Travel back to Rotana and take the path to your left.
  • Go straight and down the stairs (-3903, -2929, 0030).
  • Turn right to find an open cupboard; break the jar and crouch to pass the gap.
  • Use the Ascend ability to enter the Gerudo Jail and find the Stelae at (-3887, -2928, 0034).

Third Stelae

  • Return to Rotana and go through the door to your right.
  • Take a left and then go forward; take another left until you pass through a door with two torches.
  • Use a fan weapon or Korok Fond to blow away the sand covering the broken Stelae.
  • Pick up the slab with Ultrahand, rotate it, and place it in the Stelae to fix it.

Fourth Stelae

  • Return to Rotana and pass through the door near the Goddess Statue (to your right).
  • Arrive after 4 p.m. (16:00 on the game's clock) to enter the classroom.
  • Position yourself at (-3855, -2981, 0032) to take a complete picture of the Stelae.

Rewards

  • Unfortunately, there is no reward for completing the Heroines' Secret quest.
  • However, it serves as a prerequisite to unlock The Mysterious Eighth side quest.
